Research Interests
- When laser light is launched into dense colloidal suspensions, powder beds,
or living objects, multiple scattering of light occurs inside the medium.
At first glance, the scattered light appears random and useless. We can,
however, obtain information about the structure and dynamics of the object
by treating the detected light properly in a statistical manner. I am pursuing
theoretical and experimental studies on the multiple light scattering phenomena
and their applications.
